Navigation is the easiest subject in aviation.

It’s logical, structured, and rule-based - much like mathematics.

You already navigate daily: from your bed to your work, tracking time, direction, and decision-making.

Aviation navigation is no different - only more precise and with a few more variables that you need to learn on your way to becoming an Aeroplane Pilot.

At The Pilot Forge, you don’t just memorise formulas - you learn how they work. You’re encouraged to make mistakes when it’s safe to, not when it’s critical, structuring how real learning happens.

Meteorology

Weather becomes a part of your daily existence - you’ll find pilots discussing it at every meal.

At its core, Meteorology is simply the effect of temperature, pressure, and terrain on air and water vapour - creating the fascinating systems we call weather.

Once you understand that, it stops being intimidating and starts being instinctive.

Regulations and Human Performance

The most structured subject, with a fair bit of memorisation - but also the most logical.

Regulations (Law) exist because someone once ignored them and became the reason for their creation. Understanding why a rule exists makes it easy to remember and apply.

Human Performance teaches you about the body’s limits and the ways we compensate for them - through awareness, training, and technology.

It’s how we ensure not just a safe flight, but a lifelong flying career.
